The Beginning of a Dream
Wicksy was originally established as Wicks for Humanity in 2021 by Nathan Siler while pursuing his bachelor's degree at The University of Cincinnati. What started as a passion project quickly became something more—a brand rooted in the desire to create thoughtfully crafted products that are kind to both people and the planet. Beginning with just two products, we spent weekends selling at small markets and a booth at Trader’s World, fueled by the excitement of bringing clean, nostalgic fragrances into people’s homes.
A New Home at The Morrow Arts Center
As Wicksy gained momentum, we knew it was time for a space where we could create, showcase, and sell our products all in one place. In 2022, we moved into The Morrow Arts Center, officially opening our first flagship studio. This transition allowed us to expand our product line, refine our craft, and offer a space where customers could experience our scents in person—a dream that had once felt so far away.
A Bold Rebrand & Rapid Growth
With our vision evolving beyond just candles, we knew it was time for a change. In 2023, we made the bold decision to rebrand from Wicks for Humanity to Wicksy—a name that better reflected our identity as a modern, playful, and ever-evolving fragrance brand. It was a leap of faith, but one that allowed us to grow from one product and two scents to over six product lines and 40 unique fragrances.
Innovation, Expansion, & A Fragrance for Everyone
Today, Wicksy is thriving, launching a new product and fragrance every month, ensuring there’s always something fresh to discover. With a collection that now includes 10+ different product types and over 60 fragrances, we continue to push forward, staying true to our mission of handcrafting high-quality, nostalgic, and toxin-free home and body products. We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and can’t wait to see where the journey takes us next.
